“This is a case where an SBA 504 loan was a great fit from the start, but we just needed the right timing for the business,” says Seedcopa SVP & Relationship Manager Marie Shires.
The timing was right in 2025, when BoardSafe Docks was approved for two SBA 504 loans, which allowed them to purchase their existing leased space and an additional location, less than 2 miles away, in Fleetwood, Berks County, PA.
“We’ve known Seedcopa for years, as we discussed options, but an almost 20% increase in sales in 2024 put us in a position where we needed additional permanent storage and manufacturing space to continue to grow,” said BoardSafe Docks Co-owner and Founder Scott Tihansky. “In partnership with Fulton Bank, the team at Seedcopa was able to get us to the finish line with an interest rate well below what we were seeing elsewhere.”
