Seedcopa + SeedcoDE is once again expanding its team after a fourth consecutive year ranked as the #1 SBA 504 Lender in Eastern Pennsylvania by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Jo Lynn Entzminger has been named Loan Operations Specialist at Seedcopa + SeedcoDE, a Certified Development Company that specializes in helping businesses in Pennsylvania and Delaware access below-market interest rates through government loan programs.
Entzminger joins the Seedcopa + SeedcoDE team after serving as a Loan Servicing Manager for Lyra Lender Services, an SBA 7a Lender Service Provider to local and regional lending institutions in Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Previously, Entzminger was a Relationship Manager at the Pennsylvania Community Development & Finance Corporation (PCDfc) in Reading, PA, where she assisted small business owners with the SBA 504 loan program, including all aspects of the SBA 504 loan process from origination to servicing.
“With more than a decade of experience supporting borrowers and lenders in the SBA’s most popular loan programs, Jo Lynn offers an impressive skill set only outmatched by her sincere commitment to helping local businesses small and large,” said Seedcopa + SeedcoDE Managing Director Sherwood Robbins. “We are very excited to welcome Jo Lynn to the team.”
Entzminger was born in Delaware and raised in the Reading, Pennsylvania area. After graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Entzminger began her career as a purchasing agent for Pennsylvania-based business giants CH Briggs and Boscov’s before entering the SBA lending arena in 2011. She is proud to have visited all 50 states, patronizing small businesses along the way.
Entzminger joins Seedcopa + SeedcoDE, a leading provider of SBA 504 and other long-term, fixed rate loans, after it was ranked number one in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 by the U.S. Small Business Administration for attaining the most SBA 504 loans for small businesses in Eastern Pennsylvania.
SBA 504 is the Small Business Administration’s fixed-rate loan program for small- to mid-sized business owners, and such loans often act as a complement to conventional, commercial loans that Seedcopa + SeedcoDE facilitates through local banks and credit unions. A typical SBA 504 loan structure requires a contribution from the business owner of as little as 10%. A third-party lender, like a bank or credit union, contributes 50% of the project cost. The SBA-backed portion of the loan is up to 40%. SBA 504 loan projects help businesses purchase, construct, renovate or expand on new or existing land, as well as purchase machinery and equipment.
