If you’re a fan of PBS, you may have seen a familiar Chester County business on the broadcast network recently. Brandywine Valley Heating and Air Conditioning was featured on the show Roadtrip Nation after a producer asked the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) to connect him with an exciting, growing business in our community. The PBS story aired just before BVHVAC’s move to a brand new facility, thanks to an SBA 504 loan facilitated by Seedcopa and lending partner Meridian Bank.
The company’s president, Bill Ronayne, founded BVHVAC in 1993 to provide residential and commercial HVAC services in the Chester County, PA area. When he needed more space to grow in a highly competitive industry, Bill sought a 28,400 square-foot building just six miles from his current facility. With an SBA 504 loan and below-market interest rates, Bill was able to purchase the property and move into 302 Commerce Drive in Exton, PA in March 2025.
“It was extremely rewarding to contribute to a show whose mission is to educate the next generation on careers in a variety of business sectors, and certainly my relationship with CCEDC and its lending affiliate Seedcopa helped make it happen,” said Ronayne.
Now BVHVAC occupies 75% of the building’s square footage, which serves as its main headquarters. Services provided include installation, service and repair of heating units, air conditioning units and geothermal units.
“Working with our loan preparation team, Bill was able to demonstrate longevity in a highly competitive industry, having worked with geothermal installation and HVAC servicing since 1993,” said Seedcopa Managing Director Sherwood Robbins. “That, combined with a solid business plan, ongoing professional development and contributions to the community, made for a strong loan application.”
